The City of Palm Springs is offering civil marriage ceremonies at Palm Springs City Hall, effective June 17, 2008.

To make an appointment for a civil marriage, you may contact the Office of the City Clerk at (760) 323-8204. Space is limited at City Hall – only smaller ceremonies may be accommodated at this time.

Saturday, June 21, 2008, 7-10pm
Downtown Palm Springs, On La Plaza between Indian Canyon and Palm Canyon, Featuring: Mistress of Ceremonies, C omedian Shann Carr, Dancing in the Streets, Wedding Cakes and Cash Bar. Weddings may be performed onsite at the Enchanted Gardens Wedding Chapel by the Mayor and select members of the City Council. A valid marriage license is required.

The City of Palm Springs has created a web site to answer your questions about getting married, including how to get a marriage license. All you have to do is click Get Married in Palm Springs and you will be transported there.

You may also want to consider getting married or spending your honeymoon right here in front of the gardens at La Dolce Vita Resort. We'll even help you choose an "official" to conduct the ceremony.
